Music is more than something I just listen to. It is my religion, my comfort zone, my safe space, my motivation, my engine and my fuel, my companion, my lover, my love, and finally, one of my longest serving friends. I admire and respect music so much that anything (and I do mean anything) I can do to show it and thereby thank it for all it does and continues to do for me, it will never be enough.

Which brings me to the written word. It is my conduit for my thoughts and feelings. I do not know from whence it came, but it is an absolute honour to have the gift to share it. To marry my gift with something I love proves to me that I have some worth when I don't feel that reciprocity. I have a distinct and unique style of writing. It's very formulaic but conversational, relatable, and, let's be true, here, all about me. My views, opinions, feelings about my surroundings, relationships, observations, judgements, etc. I don't pretend to be something I'm not. I don't tell stories, I speak my truth. That is what I do best. I am not for everyone. The ones who enjoy it, thank you. I am here for you. The ones who don't, thank you as well. I'm here for you, too. Or despite you as the case may be.
